Controversial Biscayne Park Land Deal Nixed In Miami

The iPrep Academy controversy now over as David Centner announces he's backing out of the 10-million-dollar Biscayne Park deal amid all the pushback. The deal is central to the state's corruption case against former Miami Commissioner Alex Díaz de la Portilla who's charged with money laundering and bribery. Opponents of the plan say the public land should be used for the expansion of the iPrep pre-K-through-12 public school along with a park and affordable workforce housing.
